employment blogProfessionals are looking more and more to social media and informal news sources to find engaging and relevant information on their industry. Employment attorneys, HR specialists, and legal academics have an abundance of blogs to provide them with the most up-to-date employment law and wage and hour information. In today’s post, we’ll explore a number of those blogs and what they’ve been writing about recently.

Epstein Becker & Green creates content for over a dozen topical blogs, including their ‘Wage & Hour Defense Blog‘, which offers insight and commentary on legal developments affecting employers. Recent posts have explored arbitration agreements, mortgage-loan officers’ entitlement to overtime, on-call rest periods, and meal period wavers. Los Angeles based mediator Steven G. Pearl writes ‘The California Employment Law Blog‘. He has a unique point of view with 20 years of litgation experience working with both plaintiffs and defendants. Pearl’s most recent articles have explored Martinez v.
